吳局長(zhǎng)其實(shí)是副局，但大家都順口叫局長(zhǎng)，只有在正局長(zhǎng)在的時(shí)候大家才叫他吳副，他分管當(dāng)?shù)氐乃幬锉O(jiān)管，也就是抽查質(zhì)量，大部分注射及臨床用藥都得經(jīng)過(guò)他的首批，權(quán)力之大，可想而知了。剛剛上任的時(shí)候，吳局長(zhǎng)還使做了幾件實(shí)事，查處了些違禁藥品的外流案件，而我也正是因?yàn)橐獮樗麑憣ＴL，才認(rèn)識(shí)他，對(duì)於那篇專訪，吳局長(zhǎng)非常高興，還當(dāng)面表?yè)P(yáng)過(guò)我。兩人到還談得來(lái)，於是我也就經(jīng)常去他家坐坐，所以他的事也就知道一二。

不過(guò)，後來(lái)他變了。

吳局長(zhǎng)是老大學(xué)生，從小就嗜好古玩，聽說(shuō)家裏祖上就是琉璃廠裏的活計(jì)，日本鬼子侵華，他爺爺就帶了幾件頂值錢又非常易於攜帶的東西——古錢。逃到了南方，然後也就在這裏娶妻生子開枝散葉了，吳局長(zhǎng)從小經(jīng)常生病，家裏就常用古錢鎮(zhèn)邪，所以他自小熟古錢就好比80年的人小時(shí)侯熟畫片一樣。據(jù)他自己說(shuō)，六歲的時(shí)候他就可以通過(guò)辨鏽來(lái)鑒別古錢了，我聽後心裏有點(diǎn)不信，畢竟識(shí)鏽辨鏽已經(jīng)不是玩票級(jí)別的收藏家的級(jí)別了。古錢大都是金屬，以銅最多，古錢的鏽蝕有多種多樣，既有真?zhèn)沃畡e，又有地域、厚薄之分，南方土壤多雨潮濕帶酸性，鏽蝕較嚴(yán)重且相對(duì)疏松，綠鏽中常混雜有藍(lán)、綠和紅色鏽，稱為“紅綠鏽”，有的銅鏽中還會(huì)泛出一片片或一點(diǎn)點(diǎn)水銀般的光澤，稱為水銀鏽，北方少雨幹燥，鏽蝕堅(jiān)硬板結(jié)，鏽色多呈綠色或藍(lán)綠，是為硬綠鏽。其錢體大多綠鏽滿身，就是常說(shuō)的“北坑”河中撈起的古錢，鏽蝕多呈灰白色，堅(jiān)硬異常，極難清理，常叫做沙鏽。當(dāng)吳局長(zhǎng)對(duì)我侃侃而談的時(shí)候，我實(shí)在對(duì)一個(gè)負(fù)責(zé)藥品的官員同時(shí)又對(duì)錢幣如此精通佩服不已。當(dāng)然，他還請(qǐng)我觀看過(guò)他的收藏，只不過(guò)那只是他收藏的一小部分，極品按照他的說(shuō)頭，是有靈氣的，不到萬(wàn)不得已，絕見不的生人。我也只好作罷。

吳局長(zhǎng)自然不例外。他不好色不好財(cái)不看人情臉面，問(wèn)題是他喜歡古錢。

當(dāng)那些個(gè)藥商，藥販看準(zhǔn)這點(diǎn)後，機(jī)會(huì)就來(lái)了。他們四處收集吳局長(zhǎng)的資料。並高價(jià)搞來(lái)古錢，開始自然是碰了一鼻子灰，但久而久之，門外的人進(jìn)去了，進(jìn)去的人坐下了，坐下人的禮，吳局長(zhǎng)也開始收了。

房間和陽(yáng)臺(tái)相連，但總不能說(shuō)吳局長(zhǎng)從陽(yáng)臺(tái)逃了吧，難道他帶著那枚古錢走了?不至於啊，而且更奇怪的是，我在他的書櫃上找到一個(gè)盒子，裏面居然裝著那枚大齊通寶。

“太奇怪了，錢居然還在。”我本想把他放回原處，忽然莫名的好奇心又使我把它拿了出來(lái)。當(dāng)然，我戴上了手套——這事吳局以前再三要求我的，因?yàn)槭稚系暮顾赡軙?huì)毀掉這枚珍貴的古玩。

“真有那么好么。”我看著這枚和普通銅幣沒(méi)有兩樣的東西，在手上也沒(méi)有過(guò)於特殊的質(zhì)感，這時(shí)候，透過(guò)房間的的窗戶，一束光射了進(jìn)來(lái)。

說(shuō)來(lái)也巧。那道光正好射在銅幣中間的孔上。我怕被照射過(guò)久不好，剛要收起來(lái)，卻發(fā)現(xiàn)了件很奇怪的事。

本事空空中間的錢幣，那光居然無(wú)法穿過(guò)，我又試驗(yàn)了次，果然，光居然無(wú)法透過(guò)中間的方孔射到地面上。我把手指伸了進(jìn)去，暢通無(wú)阻，但光線卻反而進(jìn)入不了。

“真有意思。”我笑了笑，居然還有這種事，於是把錢靠近了點(diǎn)看。古錢通體淡黃透紅，我多少和吳局呆過(guò)段日子，對(duì)古錢有些許了解，根據(jù)銅的含量多少，古錢的鏽跡和顏色都不同，五代時(shí)的銅幣含銅多呈現(xiàn)水紅色。我把古錢緊緊的對(duì)著眼睛，我想看看，既然光線無(wú)法透過(guò)那方孔，如果眼睛去看能否看見什么。

我的確去看了，把眼睛慢慢湊了過(guò)去，不過(guò)到現(xiàn)在我都後悔那個(gè)決定。

我的眼睛看到了另外一只眼睛。確切的說(shuō)是眼珠。

蒼老，悲涼，甚至透著僵死的灰黑。那眼睛仿佛如死人的眼睛一樣。我嚇了一跳。手中的古錢幾乎掉落在地上。這時(shí)候，房間的門忽然開了，閃進(jìn)來(lái)一個(gè)人。

吳局的夫人進(jìn)來(lái)了，把茶放下和我嘮叨了幾句。我問(wèn)他，那個(gè)奇怪的客人後來(lái)還有回來(lái)過(guò)么。吳局搖搖頭，說(shuō)自從那次後，都快一個(gè)半月了，那人似乎忘記這事了，那幾天吳局還高興地和孩子一樣。本來(lái)這幾天他老是經(jīng)常看報(bào)紙，聽新聞，每次都緊張的要命，還老打電話。

“電話?”我好奇地問(wèn)，“知道和誰(shuí)么?”吳夫人不屑地?fù)u手，“還不是以前那些老來(lái)家的藥商，他們經(jīng)常提著古錢來(lái)找我們家老吳，說(shuō)什么……”吳夫人忽然自覺失言，沒(méi)有再說(shuō)下去，我也識(shí)相，便去喝茶了，喝完茶，她問(wèn)我又沒(méi)有發(fā)現(xiàn)什么，我說(shuō)暫時(shí)沒(méi)有，她便退出去了，還一直說(shuō)要留我吃飯。

在吳局的床頭，擺了很多參政消息和一些藥品局的內(nèi)部讀物，他不是退下很久了么，怎么還這么關(guān)心啊，難怪有人幹部們說(shuō)身退心不退，人退話不退。

我又看了看手中的古錢，那錢紅的非常滲人，我依稀記得上次看並沒(méi)有那么紅。我不太願(yuàn)意相信剛才看見的東西，但又沒(méi)勇氣再看一次，於是我想到個(gè)辦法，把銅幣立起來(lái)，然後用照相機(jī)在很近的地方拍了張照片。也不知道曝光是對(duì)古錢有無(wú)影響。

匆匆告辭後，我便立即去洗照片了。

很快，照片洗了出來(lái)，我把它放大後，拿到燈下。

基本上是完全對(duì)著那錢孔照的。等我一看，幾乎驚駭?shù)卣f(shuō)不出話來(lái)，我把所有的照片洗出來(lái)，每張德圖像幾乎都差不了多少。

在那方形的錢孔裏，居然有一張人臉，一張面無(wú)表情的人臉。不過(guò)從角度來(lái)看，似乎是離著孔口很遠(yuǎn)。那臉我再也熟悉不過(guò)了，正是吳局長(zhǎng)。但是由於黑暗的緣故，他的臉總是殘缺的，看不清楚，能看見的只有那只半開半閉的眼睛而已。

我把所有的照片和底片都燒掉了，沒(méi)人會(huì)接受一個(gè)退休的局長(zhǎng)居然失蹤在一枚古錢的‘錢眼’裏面。過(guò)了幾天，新聞報(bào)道出來(lái)說(shuō)，原來(lái)經(jīng)過(guò)吳局審批的藥品出了問(wèn)題，在臨床用藥中居然死了兩個(gè)人，還有幾個(gè)正在加護(hù)病房。相關(guān)人等都被抓了起來(lái)。不過(guò)新聞裏並沒(méi)具體點(diǎn)出吳局的名字，但地名說(shuō)出來(lái)了還有藥品的名稱。出事的時(shí)間，正是前段日子，我忽然明白吳局非常關(guān)心藥品局的用意了。

我再次找到吳局的家，想看看那枚奇異的古幣。但吳局長(zhǎng)的夫人居然和我說(shuō)就在昨天，那個(gè)奇怪的客人居然回來(lái)了，要走了那枚大齊通寶。吳夫人還是一臉愁容，向我說(shuō)報(bào)警了，可是依然沒(méi)有吳局的下落。我暗暗想，如果真告訴你了，恐怕你又不相信了。

那次的藥品的事故不了了之，吳局長(zhǎng)和哪個(gè)神秘的客人以及那價(jià)值不非的古錢都渺無(wú)音訊。不久，吳局長(zhǎng)新的接任者上任了，據(jù)說(shuō)這人比吳局長(zhǎng)好打發(fā)多了，他喜歡紙幣，而且最好是美鈔。“我又抽完了根煙，煙霧散去，故事也結(jié)束了。

“那枚古錢究竟是什么?中間的孔怎么象黑洞一樣?居然能把人也能吸進(jìn)去?可其他人看卻沒(méi)事啊。”林斯平奇怪地問(wèn)我。我攤開手，無(wú)可奈何地說(shuō)：“這我就不知道了，我只是說(shuō)出我曉得的。早知道該把照片留一張，可惜那相片看久了很邪門，我想都沒(méi)想，全部銷毀了。”林斯平轉(zhuǎn)看紀(jì)顏。紀(jì)顏不知道從哪裏拿來(lái)枚仿制的古錢。在手裏拋弄起來(lái)。

“人是不會(huì)掉進(jìn)錢眼的，掉進(jìn)去的，不過(guò)是人的貪欲罷了。”說(shuō)完，古錢在空中翻轉(zhuǎn)了好幾個(gè)圈，落回了紀(jì)顏的手掌。屋外已漸漸有了青色，看來(lái)天就快亮了。三人又喝了會(huì)酒，互相枕著睡去了。
