Install Windows Updates

In Windows 11, you decide聽when and how to get the latest updates to keep your device running smoothly and securely.

Select聽Start聽聽Settings聽聽Windows Update 聽>聽select聽Check for Windows updates.聽

If any updates are available for you, select Download & install. Your device will聽download and install the updates. If prompted to do so, restart your device to apply the updates.

Support for Windows 10 will end in October 2025

After October 14, 2025, Microsoft will no longer provide free software updates from Windows Update, technical assistance, or security fixes for Windows 10. Your PC will still work, but we recommend moving to Windows 11.
